[Club Rules] [EMORC Championship] [Technical Regulations] [Supplementary Regulations] [Showroom Class Trial Training]

EMORC compete under the rules of the Motor Sports Assocation. Our technical and supplementary regulations are available through the links above, but should be read in conjunction with the current MSA yearbook which can be found online here:

https://www.msauk.org/News-Publications/Publications/MSA-Yearbooks

In the main we hold untimed trials events, we set between 8 and 12 sections and run both RTV and CCV through the same sections. Each section is laid out to enable all drivers to have a challenging and enjoyable drive regardless of class of vehicle.

RTV Trials

Our list of minimum requirements for taking part in a Road Tax Vehicle (RTV) trial with EMORC:

  • Current M.O.T
  • Road taxed
  • Insured
  • Front and rear recovery points (hook or tow ball type only)
  • Tow rope (minimum diameter 25mm with spliced ends and about 4.5m long)
  • Minimum 1.75 litre AFFF fire extinguisher mounted but accessible
  • MSA specification Spill Kit
  • All full soft tops to have roll bar (at least one rear hoop and two back stays)

Vehicles are scrutinised, but if the vehicle has a current M.O.T and meet the above criteria, there should not be any problems.
